About

Hi! I believe technologies can help us better find purpose in our everyday activities to positively influence our mind, our body, and our relationships. Find me on @frankc to listen to what I’m thinking or doing right now.

What does it mean to Design Mindfulness?
Persuasive and ubiquitous technology have shown promise for behavior and healthful change predominately by focusing on sensing and feedback systems. On the other hand, Mindfulness is a field that looks inward to positively affects a number of mental, physiological, and emotional states. I am studying the field of Mindful Technologies. Technologies that focus on engagement with one’s mental and emotional state as a medium for behavior change and well-being.

I am currently researching actively on what it means to change the framing of physical activity video games. We were recently accepted to Medicine 2.0 2011 and presented at the Quantified Self Conference 2011.
